Like a Lion is projected to serve 60+ students in 2019, 30 at the Otterbein location and 30 at Brookside. Otterbein will focus on kids in grades k-5th and Brookside will serve students in grades 5th-8th.
Like a Lion will have 3 full time employees in 2019. Maddy and Rachel will oversee the organizaiton and the Otterbien location and Sara will act as the program director for Brookside. Otterbien will have an additional 2 part time staff members and Brookside will have 3 part time staff.

  • Will implement an intensive reading program for k-3rd graders to prep for IREAD
  • Focus on SEL, STEM, academics and bible studies

  • Focus on STEM, character building, academics, career exposure
  • Meals provided through Second Helpings
  • 1 full time staff, 3 part time staff
